On the 21st of March I was declared at Howell's School for Girls as the South Glamorgan High Sheriff for 2024 and 2025. 
As guests arrived they were greeted by the steel pan Caribbean melodies of Wahda Placide before entering the Great Hall where Affinity Female Voice Choir were performing an array of Welsh and English songs. 
The Howell's College Acapella Group, Harmony, opened my ceremony and the Cardiff University Female Acapella Group, The DeciBelles, closed the evening. 
It was a evening of music and laughter as I was joined by delegations from Antigua, America, France and Iraq as well as friends and family and former High Sheriff's & Lord Lieutenants. 

I am honoured to hold this role and look forward to my year ahead!
