2024-2025

On Thursday 21st March 2024, Mrs Janey Elizabeth Howell was declared as the High Sheriff of South Glamorgan for 2024 and 2025.

At Howell's School Llandaff for Girls, Mrs Howell was declared by HM Lord Lieutenant Mrs Meredith and in the presence of Her Honour Judge Lloyd-Clarke.

ABOUT Janey howell

Janey's roots started on the Caribbean Island of Antigua but she embraced Welsh life and weather in 1992.

An avid supporter of Welsh rugby, welsh cakes and of course, Welsh Music; naming her first born, Myfanwy Calypso.

She combines her love of all things Welsh with a Caribbean flavour that she looks forward to bringing into her role this year and sharing with you all.
