THE REVEREND CANON DAVID KELLAN
The Reverend Kellan was born 1952 in Bangor North Wales. Apparently, a model child, his mother made him look after his sister. His education and upbringing was in Pontypool before his theological training in St Michaels College Llandaff. He served all his ministry in the Diocese of Monmouth. In retirement David was appointment to be focal priest at Michaelston-y-Fedw where he met Janey Howell who fell about laughing at his sermons.
Father David's Blessing

Heavenly Father you are King of Kings and Lords. Mercifully hear us as we pray your blessing on Charles our Sovereign, who serves you here on earth. We pray you to grant him a return to good health, a long life, and happiness as he serves you through his people.
Lord in your mercy
Hear our prayer!
We ask your blessing, Lord, on your servant Janey, who has been called to serve you as High Sheriff for South Glamorgan. Grant her grace, wisdom and a sense of humour as she endeavours to serve King Charles and your people through this ancient and honourable office.
Lord in your mercy
Hear our prayer!
Janey is fortunate to have a loving and supportive family and we ask your blessing, Lord, on Andrew, Emily, Gabriella and Isabella as they journey with Janey through her year of service.
Lord in your mercy
Hear our prayer!
Finally, Lord we ask your blessing on ourselves. May we be kind and supportive to Janey as she represents you and King Charles in South Glamorgan.
